Gryan had an exceptional 2017 season for the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup, along with a successful National Championships, representing Vic Country in the Under 18 National Championships.

With an unbelievable goal sense, Gryan finished the TAC Cup season with 50 goals to his name which is an unbelievable achievement for a small forward. This culminated with a 7 goal effort in the TAC Cup Grand Final, leading him to Best on Ground honours in his team close win over the Sandringham Dragons.

Selected by Geelong in the 2017 Draft, Gryan had a really good first season playing in the VFL. Mainly playing as a small forward, Gryan kicked 20 goals and polled well in the Best & Fairest finishing 5th. Building on his first season, Gryan took the opportunity of his Round 1 AFL debut in 2019 with both hands, playing every game for the season including the Preliminary Final, kicking 29 goals for the year. Continuing on this form in 2020, Gryan again played every game of the season and finished in the top 10 of the Club Best & Fairest.
