Emma has taken Women's Football by storm across Australia. An athletic ruck man who can float forward and hit the scoreboard, she was the first player selected in the 2014 Women's Draft by the Western Bulldogs, representing the Dogs in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Exhibition Games, playing a dominate role in each game. Emma has also represented Western Australia on numerous occasions.

Selected by the Collingwood Football Club as one of there two Marquee Players, alongside Moana Hope, the Pies showed forward thinking in there list strategy by focusing on key position players as a priority. Without hesitation, Emma packed her things and moved from Perth to settle into Melbourne ahead of the inaugural AFL Women's competition. Emma took her training up a notch upon arriving in Melbourne in preparation for the season which resulted in her being selected as starting Ruck for the AFLW All Australian Team due to her outstanding season. Whilst it was a difficult 2018 season for the Pies and Emma, both finished the season off strongly.

As the season finished and preparations were made for the 2019 Season, Emma was approached by North Melbourne to join the club for there inaugural season. After taking the time to think what was best for her career moving forward, Emma signed with North where she proved to be an instrumental signing as she dominated the ruck and forward line. Whilst North Melbourne fell short of a finals berth, Emma had a terrific season which included being named in the All Australian team. Emma continued on her strong form in 2020 before the season was cut short due to COVID, with North Melbourne among the main chances to win the Premiership.

Away from football, Emma has completed a Architecture degree at University and commenced working for Metricon.
