A tall athletic forward, Liam worked tirelessly on his body and game since being drafted in 2012 to prepare himself for the rigours of AFL football.

Enjoying his most consistent year in 2015, Liam made his debut against Collingwood before adding another game to his tally against Essendon where he took on veteran full back, Dustin Fletcher. Not looking out of place at AFL level, Liam went back to Richmond's VFL side where he finished off a terrific season by kicking 42 goals and winning the Frosty Miller Medal for being the leading goal kicker.

Unfortunately after adding a further 3 games to his career tally in the 2016, Liam was delisted by Richmond. However with a strong ambition to still play AFL, Liam decided to play for Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL in 2017 in the hope that after a strong season he will once again be considered by AFL clubs.
