The father-son selection experienced a torrid time with injuries during the first part of his career which severely limited the amount of games and training he could take part in. This in effect hampered his development during the first few years. Coming into the club at over 200cm and weighing less than 80kg, Ayce has worked hard in the gym to develop his body to sustain the hits of AFL football.
With all the injury woes behind him, Ayce has taken his game to a new level and will look to take on the ruck/forward duties of the senior team in 2015. This is on the back of a solid 2014 season with the Footscray VFL team where he did not miss a game and was instrumental in the Premiership success.
After receiving a high VCE score at the end of his Year 12 studies, Ayce is currently completing part time studies at Melbourne University in Biomedicine.
